We offer you visit Erebuni Museum which was was built in 782 B.C. by the Urartian king Argishti the first. During the excavations started in the 20th century a cuneiform inscription was found, according to which the history of nowadays Yerevan starts from this place. On the top of the hill the ruins of the citadel and the frescoes on the wall reveal the high artistic achievements of those remote centuries. The museum down the hill displays the findings that have been excavated in the territory of the fortress.
Later a visit to the local market will be orginzed where you will have a chance to buy lots of souviners for your friends and relatives.
Then you will be taken to Megerian Carpet factory-museum to see on display an array of Antique and one of a kind rugs and carpets at the museum from the private collections of the Megerian family.
Befor finishing the tour an excursion to "Ararat" brandy factory with tasting will be arranged. Here you will get acquainted with the history of brandy making in Armenia, follow its production phases and enjoy the delicious taste and flavor of different kinds of ARARAT brandies just from the first hand.
