بررسی اجمالی
The Czech Sternberg is a unique example of an object that was almost continuously in the possession of its founder, the Sternberk family (from the middle of the 13th century to 1949). He was returned to heirs of the family in 1991. Originally a Gothic fortress, the defensive system of which has survived to this day, was rebuilt in the XVIII century in the Baroque style. Historical interiors, an art gallery, old furniture, ancient weapons, a hunting exposition with trophies are preserved.
Jemniste - the first information about Jemniste comes to us since 1381. But then the master's residence was not a castle, but just a small fortress, surrounded by a moat full of water. This fortress is still in the nearby village. At the beginning of the XVIII century, Jemniste bought the earl, which comes from an old Styrian clan. The old castle did not satisfy its high demands, so a new castle was built on a low hill, which more closely corresponded to the exquisite taste of the count and the position of an outstanding aristocrat. It seems to you an ideal opportunity to get acquainted with a typical noble residence, belonging to the period of high baroque. At present, the castle together with the estate was returned to the family of Sternberk. His current master - Jiri Sternberk - with his family occupies the left wing of the castle.
